Yale David, Founder and President of Yale Entertainment & Sports, Inc. (YES), was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia and has had a lifelong passion for sports and camping. At the age of six, he began attending sleepaway camp at Camp Green Lane in Philadelphia and remained there every summer until the age of twenty-three, ultimately serving as a lead counselor. These early experiences shaped his love for youth development and recreation, laying the foundation for his future career.

Yale pursued this passion academically and graduated from Temple University in 1995 with a B.S. in Sports and Recreational Management. During college, he gained valuable professional experience as an intern with the Philadelphia 76ers, further fueling his desire to build a career in sports and recreation.

That journey led him to South Florida, where he began as a Sports Assistant at the West Palm Beach JCC before becoming a Recreation Coordinator and later a Recreation and Wellness Director at the Boynton Beach JCC. In 2001, he founded Yale Sports Enterprises, Inc., which went on to serve thousands of youth, families, and adults through leagues, enrichment programs, and summer sports camps in the Boynton Beach and Palm Beach Gardens communities.

After the personal loss of both his parents and sister to cancer, Yale redirected his mission and founded Yale Entertainment & Sports, Inc. (YES, Inc.), a nonprofit dedicated to raising funds for cancer research and supporting local organizations. YES has proudly been a sponsor of the American Cancer Society’s Walk of Life and has contributed to improving community facilities to ensure safe, fun recreational opportunities.

In 2014, Yale and his team launched Brighthouse Day Camp, which has quickly grown into one of the premier summer camps in Palm Beach County. Now entering its 12th summer in 2026, Brighthouse has welcomed over 5,000 campers, offering a safe, exciting, and unforgettable camp experience for children of all ages.

Alongside his PHENOMENAL wife Jodi, children Hunter & Madison and staff, Yale continues to dedicate himself to building lasting memories for campers and their families each summer.
